About School of American Law
History
Established in 2012, the School of American Law, known as the SAL, is a unique overseas program established by the Educational Management Park in exclusive cooperation with the Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Tech.
Educational Management Park, the flagship institution of the School of American Law, has been the lead of legal educational activities across 28 countries in the Balkans, Caucasus, Central Asia, Europe, the MENA and Turkey.
SAL is built on the inspiration of American democratic values, brought to life by the dedicated efforts of its founders – Professor Richard Warner, together with Ketevan Jeladze and Maia Meskhi, prominent lawyers and attorneys, founder partners of KMG Law Firm, have played a pivotal role in shaping the SAL, infusing it with dedication and meaning. Professor Richard Warner’s significant contributions have further solidified SAL’s position as a leadership program for members of the legal profession.
SAL has achieved remarkable success and growth, boosting a current alumni community of over 1000 students. This diverse group includes tech lawyers, in-house lawyers, practicing attorneys, members of the judiciary, C-Suites, and law schoolers, newcomers to the legal profession. SAL welcomes individuals who look towards the future, leading with new ideas and discoveries. Across its schools in the Balkans, Greece, Central Asia, Turkey, UAE, and the Caucasus, with the flagship institution in Tbilisi, Georgia, SAL has pioneered innovative educational programs and transformative learning experiences, producing alumni to make a positive impact on their home countries and the global legal marketplace.

Since 2012, The SAL has been the only overseas program authorized to continue LL.M. at Chicago-Kent. The SAL for the Balkans, Baltics, Caucasus, Central Asia, Europe, Mediterranean, MENA, and Turkey is under the exclusive ownership of the EMP company.

SAL Courses
In the first stage of the program, pivotal instruction and lectures are provided by esteemed American professors across ten mandatory courses, each course academic credit equals one credit. This collaboration underscores the program's commitment to academic excellence and ensures a rich exchange of global perspectives and best practices in leadership theory and practice.
