School of American Law (SAL) Program
- SAL Program takes place over 2 semesters (September 2023 – May 2024) and grants 10 LL.M credits
- SAL courses can be taken online or in auditorium in Vilnius, Lithuania and are scheduled once a month during the weekends
- SAL courses are taught by the Chicago-Kent Professors, the top legal scholars who practice what they teach. SAL academics are ranked among the best in the nation
- TOEFL or IELTS are not required
- Legal English proficiency course is included
- SAL Program tuition fee is 5 800 Euro payable in several installments
- SAL Program tuition free, if applicant doesn’t receive merit based SAL scholarship, is 6950 Euro payable in several installments
- Applicants eligibility criteria:
- Bachelor diploma in law or the last year of bachelor studies
- Or degree in business administration, banking, finances, public policy, technology, with 3 years of managerial experience
- Good written and spoken English skills (TOEFL/ IELTS is not required)
- Successful participation in admission interview

- 75% tuition scholarship is guaranteed to all SAL graduates
- 100% tuition scholarship is granted to SAL graduate with a final GPA of 3.8
- SAL graduate gets LL.M degree in U.S., International and Transnational Law in one semester
- SAL graduates are required to attend two semesters at Chicago-Kent to earn LL.M degrees in one of the following highly demanding directions: Global Business & Financial Service Law, Legal Innovation & Technology, Trial Advocacy, International Intellectual Property Law
- SAL graduates get assistance with the visa process and documentation, and guidance on finding housing
- SAL issues to its graduates the TOEFL Waivers
- LL.M tuition is 10 000 US dollars payable in several installments, instead of regular 43 860 US dollars
- LL.M semester can be continued immediately after SAL or any semester during three academic years after SAL graduation
- Internships: practical experience through the innovative clinics at Chicago-Kent’s in-house Law Group stimulates a career promotion in your home country
- Externships: Chicago-Kent’s deep connections within the Chicago legal community, top private law firms, corporations, and a wide variety of advocacy organizations will be a part of your experience
- Students may get more experience with OPT, i.e., students spending two semesters at Chicago-Kent have access to the OPT in the USA (12-month post-study work permit)
- After two semesters at Chicago-Kent graduates can take BAR exam in the USA
